Once again, Diwa Learning Systems Inc (DLSI) and Bato Balani Foundation Inc (BBFI) gets industry recognition for its programs honoring teachers.

A Tribute to Teachers and the Many Faces of the Teacher both bag Gold Quill Merit Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Awarding was held recently at the Hyatt Hotel Manila.

The Gold Quill awards are given by the IABC to recognize outstanding public relations and corporate communications efforts in the country.

A Tribute to Teachers is the largest and most anticipated annual gathering of teachers and school administrators in the country. Its last gathering was held last September 27, 2008 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia.

A Tribute to Teachers is a multi-awarded event, having previously received three Anvil awards (2005, 2006, and 2007) from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) and three Philippine Quill awards (2005, 2006, and 2007) from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines.

The Many Faces of the Teacher is a search for exemplary educators whose stories can inspire thousand others. The program has already received Anvil Awards (2005, 2006, 2007) and Philippine Quill Awards (2005 and 2006)
