From the confines of the classroom to the whole world at the click of their mouse, elementary and high school students of Colegio de San Juan de Letran of Calamba, Laguna are ready to make the grade.

The school partners again with Diwa Learning Systems, providers of Genyo Online Learning Management System through the acquisition of the program for its grade school department.

With Genyo as their partners in learning, the students will learn about their Science, Math, English, Filipino and Araling Panlipunan using the web. The internet will no longer be just for surfing, playing games, chatting or watching videos. It now becomes a learning tool with interactive creative and multi-media contents such as interactive quizzes, charts, colorful graphics, animations, video and audio clips.

These lesssons can be accessed by the students anywhere there are computers and internet access, so learning is not limited inside the school and during schools hours.. Students can log on to the site using their personal password to do advance readings or review previously discussed topics in the classrooms. This allows for more student-centered learning, as students’ learning pace differs.

Discussions will no longer be hindered by limited discussion time or by a student's natural shyness as there are portals for real time chat or graded debates on various topics that can be moderated by the instructors or initiated by the students themselves. With this, everyone gets a say, not just the most talkative. The online discussions make the teachers more approachable, so they need not wait for hours that are convenient for teachers to discuss their concerns.

Genyo is the same online program being used by most students in Singapore, touted for their academic achievements as proven by their usual top rankings in global learning surveys. So, these students from Laguna will not be left behind in world-class learning.

Genyo e-Learning also includes On-Line Learning Management System; Teacher Trainings; Technical Support; e-Learning Strategic Management Services; Marketing Support and Visiting Learning Integration Specialist.
