About the Role
• Edits manuscripts for style mechanics of the language
• Identifies and resolves problems with consistent format, completeness of components, appropriateness of discussion and exercises
• Revises portion(s) of manuscript to improve language, and presentation and coherence of
ideas
• Ensures completeness and accuracy of illustrations and photos prior to proof development
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics or Science
At least two (2) years’ experience in writing and editing or any similar capacity
Broad knowledge in Mathematics or Science
Knowledge with Chicago Manual of Style
Knowledge of the K to 12 Curriculum, Philippine education system (learning competencies)
and the publishing process
