Divine Light Academy Empowers SHS Educators with Seminar on Ethical AI Integration

On May 13, 2026, Divine Light Academy (DLA) Las Piñas successfully conducted its annual Publishers’ Day, an event dedicated to the professional growth and digital empowerment of its faculty. This year, the academy focused on the cutting-edge intersection of technology and academics, hosting a comprehensive seminar designed to equip Senior High School teachers with the tools necessary to navigate the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The event featured an intensive session titled “AI to Improve Research Outputs Without Compromising Integrity.” In collaboration with Diwa Learning Systems Inc. and Bato Balani Foundation Inc., the academy invited Jerrylyn B. Magbuo PhD, Dean of the College of Arts, Sciences, and Education at FAITH Colleges and a researcher in educational technology, to lead the discussion. Dr. Magbuo brought her extensive expertise in future-ready classrooms to the DLA faculty. 

The seminar was organized following the school’s adoption of new SHS core titles from Diwa, ensuring that educators are not only well-versed in their new instructional materials but also in the ethical application of modern technology within the classroom.
