Diwa Empowers Educators through Learning Session on Predictive Assessment Systems at CEAP 2026

As part of the CEAP National Convention activities and in celebration of National Teachers’ Month, Diwa Learning Systems Inc. and Bato Balani Foundation hosted a How To Be a Highly Effective Teacher (HTBHET) Seminar Series learning session titled "Predictive Assessment Systems: Supporting At-risk Learners through Targeted Remediation" on 22 September 2026, at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City. The learning session brought together school administrators, academic coordinators, and educators eager to enhance their instructional strategies through data-informed decision-making.
The session was facilitated by Maria Mercedes T. Rodrigo, PhD, an Ateneo de Manila University Professor and internationally recognized leader in AI in education and learning analytics. An award-winning researcher and former President of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education, she specializes in introducing innovative technologies to under-resourced learning environments.
During the interactive learning session, Dr. Rodrigo highlighted how technology plays an increasingly crucial role in identifying students who require additional academic intervention. Participants explored how predictive assessment systems can help schools analyze learning patterns, detect early warning indicators of academic struggle, and transition from reactive grading to proactive instructional support.

By shifting the focus toward targeted remediation, the HTBHET session equipped school leaders with actionable approaches to ensure timely academic assistance. Diwa Learning Systems Inc. continues to spearhead these professional development initiatives, reinforcing its commitment to helping Catholic educational institutions create supportive, data-empowered learning environments where every student can succeed.
