Diwa Kicks Off 40th Year Celebration

Diwa Learning Systems Inc (Diwa) jumpstarted its 40th anniversary milestone in Better Together, a dinner and sing-along concert event held on 27 October 2022 at Casa Ibarra, Pasay City.

The event was organized to show gratitude to some of the schools and educators who have been partners with Diwa over the years. Over 300 school leaders and educators from all over the Philippines came for a night of fun, food, and friends.

The highlight of the night was the musical performance of premier vocal group The CompanY, who serenaded Diwa’s partners and encouraged the crowd to sing along to their hits.

“There may have been a lot of changes in education in the past years, but what has not changed is Diwa’s commitment towards creating rich and meaningful teaching and learning experiences for you, our partners,” said Diwa’s President Ms. Elma L. Ropeta during her opening remarks. “Even as we face an ever-transforming education landscape, we remain dedicated to supporting your schools no matter the circumstance.”

With the theme “Bringing Education to Life”, Diwa’s 40th year kick-off was marked with the launch of its anniversary video as well as a message from Diwa’s Chairman Dr. Brian Vincent L. Belen.

“The whole point of education is to shape the future of the nation,” shared Dr. Belen. “As we turn 40 in 2023, we affirm our commitment to the vision and mission that brought us to where we are right now. We will work harder to always be at the leading edge of the publishing industry—to never ever lose the innovation mindset.”

The dinner concert was also held amid the 2022 Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) National Convention which happened on 25-28 October 2022 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, where thousands of educators from across the country were able to experience Diwa’s educational solutions through its Diwa 5G Experience booth and activities.
