Serving as a foundational anchor for educational development in Northern Mindanao, Lourdes College – Integrated Basic Education Campus in Macasandig hosted a vital leg of the 2026 PEAC In-Service Training (INSET) series. The comprehensive professional development workshops ran through consecutive three-day blocks on 25-27 May and 29-31 May 2026, offering local Grade School (GS), Junior High School (JHS), and Senior High School (SHS) educators a centralized space to adapt to shifting academic policies and learning frameworks.
The training schedules featured parallel focus groups tailored to distinct subjects, helping attendees dismantle outdated teaching designs and integrate sophisticated, student-centered classroom techniques. Faculty representatives from diverse areas—including Bukidnon, Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin—engaged in practical work sessions geared toward updating lesson benchmarks and reinforcing teaching standards across all fundamental education tiers.
On-Site Curricular Solutions
To assist schools during this vital period of transition, Diwa Learning Systems Inc. mounted a specialized six-day resource and product display booth throughout the duration of the assembly. Featuring vibrant instructional pull-up banners and open review tables, the booth allowed visiting delegates to scan an expansive library of updated textbooks and printed learning guides. Teachers discovered immediate answers to evolving curriculum criteria, exploring publications specifically structurally mapped to match current national competencies.
A Shared Commitment to Classroom Quality
Beyond testing advanced literature, educators interacting with the display received corporate giveaways, including functional writing pens, and select sample educational materials (SEMs) designed to enrich their immediate lesson planning. The collaborative atmosphere underscored a deep resilience and drive among Northern Mindanao and BARMM educators to continually refine their practice. By bridging the gap between rigorous state requirements and actionable learning tools, Diwa remains a steadfast ally to the Philippine school network as this nationwide instructional tour advances.
