Educators from Region IX (Zamboanga Peninsula) and BARMM recently converged at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University - Salvador Campus for the 3rd run of the 2026 PEAC In-Service Training (INSET). Held from May 4 to 10, 2026, this comprehensive training series provided specialized sessions covering all levels of basic education.

The week-long program was strategically organized to provide a focused environment for every grade level. Training began with Junior High School (JHS) sessions from May 4–6, followed by Senior High School (SHS) training from May 8–10, and concluded with the K–6 (Elementary) sessions on May 9–10. This timeline ensured that teachers received guidance tailored specifically to their respective curriculum requirements.

Empowering Teachers for Curriculum Transitions

Central to the sessions was the alignment of instructional strategies with the latest academic standards. JHS educators focused on the Revised K–10 framework, while SHS participants engaged with the Strengthened SHS Curriculum. Additionally, the K–6 sessions supported elementary teachers in mastering foundational competencies essential for early childhood education. By training at Ateneo de Zamboanga, educators collaborated on best practices to effectively meet the instructional challenges of the upcoming school year.

On-Site Instructional Support

To assist schools in navigating these curriculum shifts, Diwa Learning Systems Inc. maintained a Product Display and Service Booth throughout the seven-day event. This resource hub served as a space where delegates could review textbooks and digital solutions fully mapped to the updated learning standards. Through evaluation copies and technical assistance, Diwa ensured that educators from Zamboanga and BARMM have the necessary tools to implement the new curriculum effectively in their classrooms.

A Unified Goal for Mindanao Education

The successful completion of this 3rd run highlights the steadfast commitment of private school educators in Mindanao to academic excellence. As the 2026 PEAC INSET series continues its nationwide rollout, Diwa Learning Systems Inc. remains a dedicated partner in providing the essential resources to support educators across the country.
