To help teachers balance academic excellence with personal well-being, St. Clement Academy in Malolos City hosted a seminar titled "Teaching Smarter, Not Harder: Practical Strategies for Effective and Sustainable Teaching" on 11 June 2026.
The seminar aimed to equip teachers with practical strategies that improve student learning while reducing daily workloads.
Focusing on Manageable Teaching
The session addressed teacher burnout and heavy administrative workloads. It focused on streamlined lesson planning, effective classroom management, and practical tools that make teaching more manageable. By adopting these habits, teachers learned how to maintain high instructional quality without sacrificing their personal time and energy.
Expert Guidance for Educators
The event featured Ms. Mylene Oliva, Academic Director at Enderun Colleges and instructor at Ateneo de Manila University. Ms. Oliva brings over 20 years of experience as an educator, author, and certified health and well-being professional.
During her session, Ms. Oliva shared insights on creating a healthier, more productive balance in the workplace. Teachers gained actionable methods to simplify daily routines, improve classroom engagement, and foster a more sustainable teaching environment for the upcoming school year.
Supporting Teacher Growth
This professional development activity for St. Clement Academy's faculty was organized by Diwa Learning Systems Inc. and Bato Balani Foundation Inc. Both organizations continue to support local institutions by bringing practical solutions and resources directly to teachers.
