Tomas Del Rosario College Leads Major Initiative for Family Empowerment

Tomas Del Rosario College (TRC) reinforced its commitment to family and student success by hosting the comprehensive seminar, “Parenting Through Change: Puberty and Beyond.” On 27 March 2026, the TRC campus was transformed into a hub of learning and connection, as a gathering of proactive parents and guardians converged for this event.

This large-scale initiative is a cornerstone of TRC’s mission to provide holistic support that extends beyond the classroom. By engaging families directly, the college ensures that parents are equipped to lead with confidence during their children's most pivotal developmental years.

A Roadmap for Modern Parenting

The event featured an intensive keynote session led by the esteemed Mr. Neil O. Pariñas. Organized in coordination with Diwa Learning Systems Inc. and Bato Balani Foundation Inc, the session served as a masterclass in child development, guiding a full house of attendees through the nuances of the "puberty and beyond" phase.

Designed as a high-energy, interactive forum, the program allowed parents to engage with the realities of modern upbringing. The session focused on three essential pillars:

  • Positive Discipline and Guidance: Strategies for leading the next generation with a balance of firmness and empathy.

  • Strengthening Communication: Opening new channels for dialogue during transitional years.

  • Building Lasting Relationships: Establishing a foundation of trust and mutual understanding within the home.

A Catalyst for Community Excellence

The scale and energy of the event highlight TRC’s role as a leader in educational and social advocacy. The Audio-Visual Room (AVR) buzzed with the collective dedication of families invested in the success of the next generation—proving that TRC is not merely a place of study, but a powerful catalyst for family growth.

By spearheading such influential programs, Tomas Del Rosario College continues to set the standard for institutional excellence. We are proud to ensure our students are supported by a community of parents who are informed, inspired, and ready for the future.
