This leadership was on full display during the recently concluded nationwide Diwa 5G Experience seminar series for School Year 2025–2026. Thousands of educators gathered to rethink, refine, and strengthen their teaching practices. With the support of Diwa Learning Systems Inc. and Bato Balani Foundation Inc., academic leaders embraced new tools and strategies to navigate the shifting demands of the Philippine education system, reaffirming their dedication to continuous professional growth and future-ready learning.

Optimizing the Learner Experience

Guided by the theme “Learning on the Edge: Optimizing LXD+ in the Classroom,” participants deepened their understanding of critical reforms, including the Revised K–10 Curriculum and the upcoming Strengthened Senior High School Grade 11 program set for SY 2026–2027.

At the heart of the seminar was a focus on Learner Experience Design (LXD). Educators explored how to create more engaging, inclusive, and meaningful environments by:

• Implementing play-based and socio-emotional learning approaches.

• Designing interactive lessons tailored to digital-native learners.

• Integrating digital tools and curated content to strengthen student connections.

Spanning the country from North Luzon to Mindanao, the Diwa 5G Experience fostered a unified movement of transformative ideas. To sustain this momentum, the series equipped participants with the technical expertise to turn theory into practice. Educators developed their capacity to:

1. Apply IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, and Sustainability).

2. Design learner-centered lessons using the 5Cs of the LXD+ Model.

3. Enhance instructional quality via the Diwa Model for Assessing LXD+ Plans.

These are more than just competencies—they are practical tools that educators are now bringing into their classrooms to create a lasting impact.
